BRAND NEW LINEUP For The April 14th "Steve Ranton Memorial Tournament"

Wednesday morning, VCW head offices released a brand new bracketing for the "Steve Ranton Memorial Tournament" to be held on April 14th. Factors such as scheduling conflicts, new editions, and re-signings have created a field of competetion that could very well end up being the finest Pro Wrestling tournament ever held in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

As of 7am Wednesday Morning, these are the brackets for the
"Steve Ranton Memorial Tournament"
To Crown The First VWA Commonwealth Champion

Danny Rage vs Sean Haze

JC Ryder vs Drew Blood

CJ O'Doyle vs Eric Pinhat

Erik Andretti vs Tuck Hanson

Bruno DeMaio vs Anthony Franco

Shane Storm vs Joey Davino

Plus, "Valley" veteran John Logan has dropped a challenge to to the returning Ritch "The Banger" Howe at the April 14th event. "Banger", who makes his return to the ring after a year absence, is ready to make an immediate impact, but must first meet the challenge of one of the toughest men "The Valley" has to offer.

And, of course, the Valley Wrestling Alliance Unified Heavyweight Championship will be defended, as champion Matt Turner faces his toughest rival to date: Pro Wrestling Unplugged Champion and Number 1 challenger Devon Moore.

All of this, plus "The Valley Vixens", Triple 6 Tattoos and Gentleman's Club 10 Giveaways, and a 50/50 raffle can guarantee that April 14th will go down as one for the ages. Tickets are a measley $10 (*cheap*) and are available now thru the VCW MySpace or by calling (570)954-5578. Local drop off available in the WB area.

DON'T miss VCW April 14th where we crown our first VWA Commonwealth Champion, and pay love and respect to a cherished friend. Until next time, see you @ Roller King.

VCW Newsline For The New Year

- The verbal barrage between Bruno DeMaio and Matt Turner has already begun. Turner, the newly crowned VWA Unified Heavyweight Champion, has been quoted in several outlets as predicting a submission victory early in the bout. He also reffered to DeMaio as "the underdog" on several occasions during these statements. None of this sits well with the 350lb "Italian War Machine".

"He wants to call ME an underdog? I'm hearing that way too much." Demaio said. "I think on January 6....I'll be ruining a lot of people's day when I leave Roller King the champion."

- I'm looking forward to the debut of Pete Hunter. Someone of his size and ablilty really adds a strong dimension to the roster here. Hunter, as I have read elsewhere online, is a two sport All American collegiate athlete, as well as something of an ill temper. Lets see how his temperament impacts the already edgy VCW locker room.

- Since his loss of the VCW Championship in September, Joey Davino has been silent. Jerry Durling, Davino's opponent on January 6, has been NOT so silent, predicting another pinfall victory.

- Both Danny Rage and JC Ryder have been sick recently, and Tuck Hanson may have suffered a broken wrist. Keep a close eye on those situations.

Storm, who defeated Danny Rage by pinfall at our last event, is looking for an equally challenging opponent at this showcase. Aries considers him the cornerstone of his "Camp", and it is widely known that he considers good competetion the surest way to success.....and eventual shots at the VWA title.
